Your Data is Yours

Soul exists to capture and preserve who you are. That means your data is the product itself. We will never sell, share, or use your identity data for advertising, model training, or any purpose beyond providing the Soul service to you.

What We Collect

• Account information (name, email, encrypted password)
• Conversation transcripts with Celesta
• Story chapters you write
• Extracted personality traits and identity data
• Settings and preferences

How We Process Your Data

All AI processing happens on private infrastructure. Your conversations are never sent to third-party AI providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. We use open-weight models running on hardware we control. No external company sees your identity data.

Your Replica Visibility

By default, your Soul replica is completely private. Only you can interact with it. You control:

• Whether your replica is publicly discoverable
• Whether others can converse with your replica while you are alive
• Who receives access to your Soul after you pass
• What information is visible in the public directory

Data Retention

Your Soul data is retained indefinitely (that is the point of the product). If you delete your account, all data is permanently destroyed within 30 days. Legacy vault data designated for recipients is retained per your delivery instructions.
